My Philosophy of Education

 

             I believe that each student is a child of God and that each student has God-given gifts which can be used to glorify God in their daily lives.  The goal of education and to me as an educator is to nurture and develop these gifts as well as stimulating the mind to a greater understanding of God’s complex world.  Every student coming into a classroom has the right to learn and it is up to me, as the teacher, to do my best job creating a conducive environment for learning.  Different models of teaching must be used by educators to fit the different styles of learning that exists in each student.  The ultimate goal of education is to cultivate, nurture, and inspire the whole child into becoming a positive and productive citizen in their community and country.
